Construction of Link RD Form Bribandh To Mohammadpur Bus Stand Under Dncc.

1. Govt of the People’s Republic of BD,Ministry of LGRD and Cooperatives has entrusted the Corps of Engrs, BD Army to execute the task of “Constr of Link Rd from Beribandh to Mohammadpur Bus Stand under DNCC” financed by Govt of BD (GOB) and Dhaka North City Corporation(DNCC). The proj involves land acquisition, land dev, constr of new flexible pavement (length 450 m and width 36.58 m), constr of box culvert, and footpath with duct, central reservation, drainage work, rd marking, signal and electrification. As per ‘Dev Proj Proposal’ (DPP) formulated by DNCC and approved in ECNEC, the estimated cost of this proj was Tk 5130.286 lacs and implementation pd was about 3 yrs from Jan2011 to Dec 2014. A total of Tk 1366.48 lacs (excluding land acquisition and compensation of existing structure) is Alt for this proj. Later, on 26 Feb 2015the first revised Development project proposal was approved where the project cost was increased to tk 5522.05 lacs and a total of tk 2035.48 lacs was Alt for the physical works of the proj. The proj is implemented as per Proj Implementation Policy (PIP) prep by BD Army.

2. Prime Minister`s Office, AFD approved the depl of BD Army for “Constr of Link Rd from Beribandh to Mohammadpur Bus Stand under DNCC” Proj. This proj is implemented under the overall con of E in Cthrough Engr Dte and under dir supervision of HQ 14 Indep Engr Bde.
