Obj of STC&S is:
(1) STC.
(a) Impart basic trg to 300 rects of the Corps of Sigs at a time.
(b) Impart various trade trg to rects.
(c) Conduct upcl and promotion courses of certain trades of the Corps of Sigs.
(2) School of Sigs.
(a) Impart basic trg to all offrs of Corps of Sigs.
(b) Impart specialized trg to selected offrs of the Corps of Sigs.
(c) Impart adv tech trg to selected offrs/JCOs/NCOs of Corps of Sigs.
(d) Conduct Sigs courses for other arms offrs/JCOs/NCOs.
(e) Impart Crypto trg to selected offrs/JCOs/NCOs of the Crps of Sigs and also to evaluate and standardize the crypto system in the Army.
(f) Conduct basic trg and upcl of cryptographers.
(g) Carr out research and dev of sig eqpt, review sig tac and sig pub from time to time.
